About the Project
In “Cape Verde in the colors of the world” Sandra Horta takes us in a journey through different genres and themes of Cape Verdean music with arrangements that transport us to different latitudes of the world, physical and emotional spaces: from the depth of a morna, to the strength of batuque and the joy of funaná with passages of jazz, blues, afrobeat, samba or fado.
Sandra Horta sings about women, children, love - showing the strength, the struggles and the morabeza of the people of her islands bu alsoabout themes that she cares about like the environment and migrations.
